The Dutch government today has made export credit insurance available as part of a new package that aims to stimulate bilateral trade and reconstruction.

A New Team Europe Initiative for Recovery and EU Integration

The European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine is a landmark initiative to accelerate Ukraine’s recovery and support its path to EU membership. By decision of the so-called Interministerial Committee of the Federal Government, a rule-based review will now apply when accepting export credit guarantees for Ukraine. This replaces a strict case-by-case assessment and the requirement for bank collateral.

Starting from March 2026, applications for grants for the processing industry and grants for recovery in 2026 under the Made in Ukraine policy are being accepted. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“Businesses can receive funding for both development and scaling up production, as well as for the replacement of equipment damaged by russian shelling. In addition, we have opened up the possibility of repeat funding for those who have successfully implemented projects and fulfilled all obligations under the previous grant,” the Head of Government emphasized.
